Prosperous Greetings Reader,
Your Weekly Insights for October 12th to October 18th 2026
In Today's Pulse: Why I turned my car around in cold windy weather and drove home, the simple trick for keeping the peace at Thanksgiving dinner, what Pluto is finally ready to set free in you on Thursday, a two minute practice for the days when everything hits at once, and the Mercury slowdown you'll want to prepare for before Sunday.
The Energy This Week
We begin the week in the fresh, gentle glow of today's New Moon in Libra, the sign of balance. That word, balance, is going to matter more than ever over the next seven days.
Monday is Thanksgiving here in Canada, and if you're gathering with family, the sky suggests that the classic dinner table debate could be closer than you'd like. You can keep the peace by quietly declaring the hot topics off limits before the turkey hits the table. Let the day be about gratitude, not about being right. Gratitude, after all, is one of the most powerful prosperity practices there is.
Wednesday the mood lifts beautifully. The Moon links up harmoniously with planets in all three fire signs, (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) bringing a burst of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. It's a wonderful day to brainstorm, create, and move projects forward. Just remember to slow down enough to catch the details, because excitement can lead to small mistakes when we rush.
Thursday carries a warm, generous feeling that's perfect for connecting, sharing, and spending time with people you enjoy. It's also the day Pluto, the planet of deep transformation and personal power, turns forward again in Aquarius after moving backward since spring. Whatever you've been quietly reworking on the inside these past months, the way you see yourself, your money, or your path, is now ready to start showing up in your outer world.
Friday brings an abundance of energy for demanding work, whether that's tackling a big project or the tasks you've been avoiding. It's also an excellent day to commit to moving your body or starting a new wellness routine, because healthy habits begun now have real staying power.
And if you've been dreaming about starting your own business or launching a side venture, this whole week is quietly supportive of that brave first step.
A Story I Think You'll Recognize
This week, the story is mine.
For the past couple of weeks, I've been navigating some health concerns, and the worry has been keeping me up at night. At the same time, I've been in the thick of my Fall Financial Reviews and launching the Prosperity Inner Circle. A full plate, and not much sleep to carry it.
Yesterday morning, I was so looking forward to a women's conversation circle. Then a work call set me back, I couldn't find parking and to top it off it was cold, windy, and rainy. (this girl loves the warmth)
Suddenly it all landed at once: the lists waiting for me at home, my longing to connect with these amazing women, and a tiredness that went all the way to my bones. I felt overwhelmed and defeated. The tears came, and so did the irritability.
So I made a choice, I turned the car around and drove home.
Not because I'd failed, but because I finally recognized I was overdoing it. Once home, I regrouped, refocused, and calmly finished what truly needed doing. My health concerns are still simmering in the background, but I have plans in place, and that brings me peace.
I share this because I know I'm not the only one.
Feast and famine, overflow and empty, so many of us swing between the two and wonder why we feel so depleted. The gentle truth is that neither the busy seasons nor the quiet ones are the problem. The exhaustion comes from believing we have to push through everything, all the time. Sometimes the most prosperous decision you can make is to turn the car around.
Where the Divine Feminine Comes In
Nature has never moved in a straight line, and Autumn reminds us of this so beautifully, with its season of harvest and its season of rest unfolding side by side. As the fields offer up their fullness and the gardens are gently tucked in for the winter ahead, we're shown that both the gathering and the letting go are part of the very same abundance.
Our Divine Feminine understands this rhythm deeply. She knows how to receive, how to rest, and how to trust that quiet seasons are not empty seasons. They are fallow ground, where the next harvest is quietly being prepared.
Our Divine Masculine brings the structure and action that help us thrive when things are flowing. But when he runs the whole show without her, we push through the feast until we collapse, and then we fill the famine with fear instead of trust.
Balance isn't about everything being even all the time. It's about honouring both. Saying yes to the abundance when it comes, and also saying no, pacing yourself, and letting yourself rest without guilt when things slow down.
This shows up in our money, too. So many women, especially those in business for themselves, live with a feast or famine rhythm in their income. When we meet the quieter months with calm instead of scarcity, we make wiser choices and stay open to what's coming next.
Ask yourself: Do I trust myself in both the full seasons and the quiet ones?
Wayne Dyer taught that abundance isn't something we go out and get, but something we tune into.
Dr. Joe Dispenza reminds us that gratitude is one of the most powerful states we can live in, because it tells our body that what we desire has already arrived.
This Week's Invitation
If overwhelm starts to rise this week, try what I call the Pause and Choose Three practice. Place a hand gently on your belly and take three slow, unhurried breaths, then reach for a piece of paper and let everything swirling in your mind spill onto the page, so you no longer have to carry it all in your head. Once it's in front of you, circle just three things that truly matter today, and give everything else loving permission to wait its turn.
On the quieter days, when the silence starts to feel unsettling, resist the urge to fill it with worry and ask yourself softly, "What wants to be nourished right now?" Perhaps it's the rest you've been missing, a small seed you'd like to plant for the future, or simply the gift of a little spaciousness in your day.
Weekend Outlook
This is a lower energy weekend, so be choosy about where your energy goes. Avoid draining situations and people where you can, and let rest be productive in its own way.
As the weekend draws to a close, you may notice life feeling a little slower or more tangled than usual. Mercury, the planet that guides how we communicate and connect, is gradually easing to a pause before it begins its retrograde journey on October 24th, and this gentle slowing down can stir things up almost as much as the retrograde itself.
Conversations may not land quite the way you intended, plans might shift unexpectedly, and your phone or computer could have a mind of its own, so this is a lovely time to move a little more slowly and give yourself extra grace.
A few prosperity minded ways to move through it with ease: double check invoices, payments, and important emails before you hit send, back up your files and photos, read the fine print carefully, and give yourself a pause before responding to any charged money conversation. We'll go deeper into Mercury Retrograde in next week's Pulse.
One Small Practice
Before you close this email, place a hand over your heart, take a slow breath, and say to yourself:
"I am safe in every season, in the full times and the quiet times, abundance is always finding its way to me."
Notice how it feels to let that truth settle into your body.

This Weeks Happenings
Thank you so much to everyone who joined our very first Prosperity Inner Circle this past Thursday, because what unfolded together was truly beautiful. We looked at tuning into our Inner Venus and discussed how Self Worth and Self Esteem can get in the way of creating Wealth.
I would love for you to join us when we gather again on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 PM, in a sacred monthly space where you can arrive exactly as you are and leave feeling supported, grounded, and clear.
Until next Saturday, may you find your balance and enjoy every bit of your harvest.
With love and Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends,
Barbara - Prosperity Soul Guide
