Prosperous Greetings Reader,
Happy long weekend, and good morning. Pour your coffee, find your quiet corner, I’m glad you’re here.
The Energy This Week - Sept 7th to 13th
Monday (Labour Day) carries a quiet but important lesson: the company you keep this weekend will shape how it feels. Spend it surrounded by people who demand, control, or need managing, and you’ll end the holiday more depleted than when it started. Spend it with the spontaneous, soft-hearted people in your life, and you’ll come back into the week creatively fed and genuinely rested. Worth choosing on purpose.
Tuesday is a strong day for heads-down, practical work, the kind where you actually cross things off the list.
Wednesday quietly outshines the rest of the week for connection, so if you’ve been meaning to plan a date night or a dinner with someone who matters, this is the day.
Thursday, September 10th is a monumental day in the skies, bringing four distinct cosmic shifts that redirect our focus:
- Venus enters Scorpio: Venus moves into deep water energy, deepening everything it touches. Personal relationships and financial values may feel more intense, honest, and all-or-nothing.
- Mercury enters Libra: The planet of communication enters balanced air energy, which is genuinely wonderful for negotiation, diplomacy, and finding fair middle ground with clients or partners.
- Virgo New Moon: A clean-slate energy that favours getting organized, refining daily routines, and starting new health habits you actually intend to keep. New Moon window starts Sept 9-11th.
- Uranus Stations Retrograde: This cosmic pause invites us to turn inward and question the old "should's" or outdated beliefs that keep us playing small.
Together, Thursday asks us to step out of reactive noise and choose alignment over habit.
A Story I Think You'll Recognize
Picture a woman, let’s call her Renee. Renee runs her own business, and she is, without question, the person everyone can count on. She answers the late-night email. She gives the loyal client one more discount. She says yes to the favour even when she’s already stretched thin.
There’s one client in particular who takes more than she gives, more calls than the retainer covers, more scope than the invoice reflects, more of Renee’s evenings than either of them ever agreed to out loud. Renee keeps telling herself it’s temporary, that she’ll set the boundary once things calm down.
Things never calm down.
Here’s what I want Renee, and maybe you, to know: this isn’t a discipline problem or a lack of business savvy. Over forty years in finance and through my own seasons of burnout, I’ve seen how deeply our hardwired conditioning dictates our bank accounts. When you’ve spent years running on high alert, being needed can start to feel like the only safe way to secure your place. And financially, it shows up in predictable ways: undercharging, over-giving, and a quiet discomfort whenever money or support tries to flow back toward you.
Where the Divine Feminine Comes In
This pattern has a name. I call it The Provider, one of four Wealth Identity patterns I’ve come to recognize in the women I work with. (Have you taken the quiz yet?) Take it Here!
If you see yourself in Renee, generous almost to a fault, endlessly attuned to what everyone else needs, quietly uncomfortable receiving, you may be a Provider too. And I want you to hear this clearly: your generosity was never a mistake. It’s one of your greatest gifts. But true financial longevity requires learning that you are just as deserving of that same stewardship and care.
What Providers are actually craving, underneath the over-giving, isn’t a tighter budget or more hustle. It’s relief: the kind that means an evening that’s actually yours, a Saturday with your family where your phone stays in the other room, a decision made without first calculating what it costs everyone else. It’s the version of you that isn’t always last on the payroll.
Here’s a small, practical shift: the next time you’re about to discount your price, extend your hours, or say yes before you’ve even checked in with yourself, pause and ask one question instead. "What do I actually have the capacity to give here, freely and sustainably?"
If the answer feels light, give freely, if it feels heavy, that heaviness is valuable data. Listen to it.
Wayne Dyer often spoke about how you teach people how to treat you by what you’re willing to accept. Dr. Joe Dispenza reminds us that real transformation requires breaking the subconscious habits of our past. And Abraham Hicks puts it plainly: you cannot out-give your way into abundance, you have to open yourself up to receive it, too.
If Provider doesn’t sound like you, you might see yourself in one of the other three patterns: The Performer, who proves worth through constant achievement; The Seeker, whose big ideas scatter before they can compound; or The Protector, who knows exactly what to do and still can’t quite make the move. I’ll be weaving all four through the coming weeks, so keep reading even if this one isn’t yours yet. (Take the Quiz)
Weekend Outlook
Notice, this weekend especially, who fills your cup and who quietly empties it. You don’t need to make any dramatic changes yet. Just notice.
You may wake up Saturday with your mind already racing, full of ideas, and that restless, wide-awake energy is likely to carry you right through until late Sunday. Don’t let fear talk you out of a bold or unconventional idea this weekend. If there’s a proposal to submit, a pitch to send, or an ask you’ve been sitting on, the sky genuinely favours you moving on it now, weekend or not.
One Small Practice
Take a moment this week to check in with your own balance sheet, not just the numbers, but your energy.
Ask yourself: Where am I over-investing my time, money, or effort out of habit rather than true alignment?
Allow yourself to pull back just 10% in that area this week. What you’re really practicing here isn’t holding back, it’s protecting your output so there is always enough left over for your family, for yourself, and for the wealth you are actively building.
