Dive into Prosperous Saturdays

Prosperous Greetings Reader,

Welcome to the very first Prosperity Pulse.

Each Saturday, I'll be sending you a weekly newsletter that I hope will benefit your week ahead, and honestly, I hope it becomes something you look forward to as much as I look forward to writing it.

Think of this as our standing Saturday morning date. Pour your coffee, find a quiet corner, and give me a few minutes of your day. I'll bring you a little bit of the sky, a little bit of the soul, and a little bit of the wisdom I've picked up over forty years of watching women and money dance together, sometimes gracefully, sometimes not.

This is the very first one, so welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

The Energy This Week

Today the Sun slips into Virgo, and if you felt a subtle shift in your bones, that's why.

Summer's permission slip to rest, wander, and be a little undisciplined just expired. Virgo season is asking us to come back to the body, the calendar, the to-do list. Tuesday, Mercury (the planet of thought) follows the Sun into Virgo too, which means our minds get sharper, more detail-oriented, more capable of sorting the real problem from the noise.

Here's where it gets interesting for us. Virgo energy, at its best, is devotion. It's the quiet discipline of showing up for your life in small, faithful ways.

But Virgo energy, unexamined, curdles into something else entirely: perfectionism, self-criticism, the belief that you are only as good as your last accomplished task. And that shadow side doesn't just live in your mind. It lives in your body and in your bank account too.

A Story I Think You'll Recognize

Picture a woman, let's call her Claire. Claire is brilliant at her job, keeps a spotless home, remembers everyone's birthday, and still feels like she's failing somehow. Every Sunday night she makes a new list. Every list has a line item about money she hasn't dealt with yet. Every week the list carries over, a little heavier than the last.

Claire isn't lazy or bad with money, Claire is exhausted. Her nervous system has been in a low, quiet state of fight-or-flight for so long that her body no longer distinguishes between "unread email" and "actual emergency." And here is the part almost nobody tells women like Claire: chronic stress doesn't just wear down your health, it wears down your wealth too.

Cortisol, the stress hormone, is directly linked to impulsive spending, avoidance of financial decisions, and a scarcity mindset that makes even abundant women feel poor. Your body and your bank account are not separate stories. They are the same story, told in two different languages.

Where the Divine Feminine Comes In

This is why I talk so much about the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine in my work. Virgo season, left unchecked, pulls us hard into the Divine Masculine: doing, fixing, achieving, pushing through. And that energy is beautiful when it's balanced. But without the Divine Feminine underneath it, the receiving, the resting, the trusting, we burn out chasing a version of "enough" that keeps moving the goalposts.

Wayne Dyer used to say you cannot be lonely if you like the person you're alone with. I'd add this: you cannot build lasting prosperity if you don't first make peace with the person doing the building.

Dr. Joe Dispenza's work backs this up beautifully. Your body keeps score of every stressed, anxious thought, and it will keep creating the same chemical, and often financial, reality until you interrupt the pattern.

And lastly, Abraham Hicks puts it even more simply: you cannot create a new life from the same vibration that created the one you're trying to leave.

This Week's Invitation

Thursday is a genuinely wonderful day to have a real conversation, whether it's with a partner about the budget, a colleague about a raise, or yourself about what you actually want. Use it. Your mind is sharp this week and people-conversations are especially favored.

Thursday night into Friday: There's a lunar eclipse Full Moon in Pisces, and eclipses have a way of stirring up confusion and overconfidence at the same time, an odd but real combination.

If a big decision, especially about money, a relationship, or letting someone go, is knocking on your door this week, my honest advice is: let it wait. Not because you're avoiding it, but because Piscean, eclipse-touched energy is not clear-seeing energy. Give yourself until next week to decide from your center instead of your adrenaline.

And this weekend, Saturday is wide open, genuinely restful skies, so let yourself do whatever fills your cup with zero guilt. Sunday morning leans dreamy and creative, ideal for a walk, a journal, a slow breakfast, something romantic or beautiful. By evening the energy naturally firms up, so that's your window for chores, errands, and getting ready for the week ahead. Let the day do the organizing for you instead of forcing it.

One Small Practice

Before you close this email, place a hand on your Heart and take one slow deep breath.

Ask yourself: What would it feel like to handle money the way I handle something I already love easily? Not with gritted teeth. With devotion. That's Virgo season done right.

This Weeks Happenings

This space will be where I keep you up to date on online and local events as they come, circles, gatherings, and whatever else feels aligned. For now, just know I'm so glad you're here.

Hit reply and tell me: does the end of summer feel like a relief, or are you not quite ready to let it go? I read every reply myself.

Until next Saturday, be gentle with yourself this week.

With love,

Barbara
